WestJet Airlines
WestJet required new documentation for the Operations and MSOL groups. We accomplished this by:
- Managing, coordinating, and organizing a team of writers through the development, research, analysis, and production phases of this project.
- Performing information and needs analysis for the Operations and MSOL groups within WestJet to determine documentation requirements.
- Conducting interactive, information-gathering worksessions with team experts to identify, clarify, and develop MSOL Business Process methodology. Developing detailed process flowcharts in VISIO to document business flows.
- Preparing and presenting documentation plans, detailed TOCs for three manuals, and project proposals.
- Developing working prototype for MSOL Project Management Site in Dreamweaver, HTML, and Javascript. Writing detailed programmer specifications for development of that site.
- Coordinating the development of the Budget Forecast Guide, Productivity Differential Guide, and the Business Process Manual. Acting as editor for all three documents.
Tools Used: Microsoft Word, Adobe Framemaker, Visio 2000, Adobe ImageStyler, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Dreamweaver.
