This large Calgary food retailer needed new standards set for their documentation systems. We assisted them in this process by:
- Performing information and needs analysis of both existing documents as well as upcoming software documentation needs for Calgary Co-op, with the goal of setting standards for all new software documentation.
- Conducting information gathering, brainstorming worksessions with staff to determine specific documentation needs.
- Developing and delivering detailed business process flows detailing flow and development of technical information through the various phases of project development.
- Summarizing and presenting results in a series of Powerpoint presentations. Assisted Calgary Co-op in determining, refining, and training staff about internal project documentation requirements.

Interalia
Interalia’s XMU+ is a messaging platform with a wide range of features. Rowan Tree Books produced the documentation needed to create a fully functional product. We did this by:
- Managing and coordinating a team of writers in developing, writing, and producing documentation for the XMU+ product, we also acted as editor for all manuals produced by our team.
- Performing information and needs analysis to determine documentation requirements.
- Developing detailed Table of Contents (TOCs) and outlines for all manuals, online help, and configuration documents.
- Developing detailed project plans, proposals, and estimates for each project.
- Working with writers and information experts to write and produce the XMU+ Installation Guide and the XMUCOM+ QuickStart Guide.
- Coordinating documentation and manual production with printers and client.

Alberta Stock Exchange
Our team of writers developed documentation for a new Alberta Stock Exchange product. We completed this project by:
- Designing and writing all user documentation for new ASE product. Documents include: Guide to the Trading Terminal, Guide to the Trading Workstation, and Guide to the Trading Rules.
- Maintaining project status and reporting to ASE management as the ACT Project Officer.
